Via Solis notices that the solutions for photovoltaic power plants no longer meet the goals of today‘s solar market. Roof-mounted PV systems are no longer suitable for the future buildings as it can not generate enough energy to achieve near-zero energy balance. Existing aesthetic and architectural solutions also do not correspond to what the solar market needs, nor meet the architects, real estate developers or residents' expectations.
Company‘s produced non-standard PV products consists of 36 module types created from power generating glass. To achieve the certification for all types, starting on the 1st of October, 2015, Via Solis has been implementing the electricity generating glass certification (EN-inGLASS) (No. S-03.2.1-LVPA-K-802-01-0020) project funded by the 2014-2020 European Union funds Investment Priority 3: „Small and medium-sized business competitiveness' promotion"No. 03.2.1 LVPA-K-802 "Expo Certificate LT". During this project all newly ViaSolis developed products will be certified.Certification will include UL1703, IEC 61215: 2005, IEC 61730-1.2: 2004, MCS 005 MCS 015 MCS 012 certificates. The project should end on the 31-st of March, 2017.
